RULES
1.  CPRHA Sire Stakes will consist of four divisions--Open and Non-Pro Futurity and Open and Non-Pro Maturity.  All divisions will follow the same rule format.
2. Futurity entries will be open to any  nominated 3-year old who is by a nominated sire.
3. Maturity entries will be open to any nominated 4, 5, or 6 year old who is by a nominated sire who has been enrolled in the previous year.
4. Any horse to be shown in Sire Stakes Futurity or Maturity must be enrolled in the program.  Enrollment is completed by nomination of the Futurity prospect's Sire.  All foals by the nominated sire are then eligible to compete in the Sire Stakes program once they are nominated and paid up.
5. Any enrolled sire who has been enrolled in previous years may be nominated and paid up for this year's Maturity.  All of his foals will then be eligible to be nominated for this year's Maturity.
6. Sire must be enrolled each consecutive year for all foals to be eligible for the maturity. If a sire nomination year is skipped, the foals from that year will not be eligible.
7. Foals nominated by any 1st year enrolled Sire will only be eligible for the Sire Stakes Futurity.  Then on the 2nd year of sire nomination and each year thereafter all foals will be eligible for Maturity nomination.

Nominations:

Stallions nomination deadline for Futurity & Maturity is April 1of current year.
Nomination fee is $250.00 per stallion with postmark before January 1, 2007. $350 if postmarked January 2, 2007 thru April 1, 2007.
Stallion nominations received after April 1-- $500
Futurity/Maturity nominations deadline is June 1of current year.
Futurity/Maturity nomination is $100 per foal with postmark before January 1, 2007. $200 with postmark of January 2, thru June l.
Futurity/Maturity nominations received after June 1-- $300.

Postmark date will be used to determine date that nominations were received.

Anyone can nominate a stallion and after the stallion has been nominated, anyone may nominate their foal by that stallion.

Entry Fees:

$50 for Non-Pro Futurity/Maturity entry if entered in the Sandhills Slide Futurity/Maturity

$100 for Non Pro Futurity/Maturity entry if entered only in the Sire Stakes

$50 for Open Futurity/Maturity entry if entered in the Sandhills Slide Futurity/Maturity

$100 for Open entry if entered only in the Sire Stakes

(50% of entry fees will be retained by CPRHA.)

Payback:

$500 added to each division of the sire stakes futurity and maturity.

Sire enrollments will be totaled and divided equally between the four divisions to be paid to the sire nominators of the top 3 foals.
Foal Nominations will be added to the added money of their respective division.  Foal nominations, added money and entry fees will then be combined to make the total pay out for each division.  Payback for the exhibitors will be based on NRHA payback rules.  If someone other than the sire owner nominates a sire, the payback will be returned to the nominator of the stallion.
There will be no exceptions for late nominations.  Postmark date will be used to determine the date received.
