| 2009 Central Plains
Reining Horse Association Rules
The
CPRHA board of directors is proud to promote the
sport of reining and is excited to introduce the
2009 show schedule. We hope that this list of shows
encourages all reiners to compete at the local,
regional and national levels. The 2009 CPRHA show
season consists of 11 total shows that make up all
or part of two different circuits, Year End Awards
Circuit and the Mountain US Affiliate Qualifying
Circuit. Every show on the schedule is a CPRHA show
and several are also NRHA and/ or AQHA approved as
indicated.
When entering at all shows you will need both rider
and owners membership cards from the appropriate
association. Each horse will need to have a copy of
their NRHA Competition License for NRHA classes and
copy of their AQHA registration papers for AQHA
classes.
The Central Plains Reining Horse Association will
follow the rules of the NRHA although neither the
circuit nor all of the reinings will be NRHA
approved. The CPRHA Board of Directors retains the
right to modify NRHA rules where unusual
circumstances might exist in jackpot reinings, but
must inform exhibitors of those changes prior to the
start of the show. The Open, Youth and Non Pro
classes may be run concurrently with AQHA classes at
NRHA shows but are open to horses of all breeds.
Please check your show bill for updated information.
